The Miner Assembly is a collective governing body composed of the four Miner Groups, including Stakers, Developers, Liquidity Miners, and Validators, who may collaborate at the constitutional level of authority to alter any aspect of the Telcoin Platform governance system.

Stakers are Telcoin mobile app users who stake TEL, drive platform adoption, earn a percentage of their referred users’ fees, harvest TEL, and vote as part of their Miner Group in governance based on their TEL staked on TAN.

Liquidity miners provide liquidity to decentralized financial markets on TELx, earn fees from trades, harvest TEL issuance and vote as a part of their Miner Group in governance based on their pro-rata share of liquidity staked on TELx.

Developers

Developers are GSMA members who stake TEL and produce mobile applications that integrate with the Telcoin Platform, earn transaction fees, harvest TEL, and vote as part of their Miner Group in governance based on their pro-rata share of TEL staked on TAN.

Validators

Validators are GSMA Operator Member Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) who manage nodes on Telcoin Network, earn TEL gas fees and issuance each time they secure a block to the blockchain, and vote with others in their Miner Group in governance based on their TEL staked for PoS.

Miner Councils are policy-making organizations who represent their constituents’ interests in collective-choice processes that serve to set, enforce, and refine the rules for interacting with the Telcoin Platform, such as providing for improvements or allocating TEL issuance.
