Tim…this is just a high level concept proposal which has to be approved first by multiple councils, before a detailed spec is drawn up. Once dev is complete…then you do the user guide, help screens and any other educational material. Thats normal SDLC. Lets get it approved first .
I appreciate its high level but that’s why it looks complicated.
The original idea was to make the whole staking process easier for the user.
Surely there’s an end game vision?
Select your token
Decide on amount
Pick a pool
…cant get more simple than that
Sounds good.
I’m sure someone can put this into a UI picture easily enough. Would be good to see.
Would the proposed 2:1 cost clawback end once the initial development costs have been covered? 2:1 sounds a little high in relation to the long term benefits outlined. Other wise it sounds like a great idea. I would certainly look to onboard if I could do it via the app with a few simple clicks. Thanks for the thought behind this
Hi @bestsweep …thanks for your question and support. It was generally felt by the council that the proposed development cost recovery would not be fair to other liquidity providers so in the latest version of my propossl, I discounted that idea. The text has been left in for reference only.
First up, thanks to everybody who has contributed to the discussion over the last few months - I appreciate all the feedback. At the last Telx Council meeting (March 5th) we were presented with a final, estimated, cost of development for this proposal which came in at $24k usd. (approx 4m Tel at the current, all be it volatile, rate). It was generally felt, and with my full support, that the council could not really justify that high cost, especially in the context of the current development budget & all the other work and proposals the council are trying to do this year. So this Proposal will be put on the “back” burner and archived for the foreseeable future.
