My current day to day job is within data management/data governance for a large private UK based company.

Introduction
I found out about Telcoin not long after first finding an interest for Cryptocurrency in 2020. Even without knowing too much about the project, it immediately stood out to me as unique. Since then I’ve slowly worked myself up to become more and more active within the Telcoin community. For the last 12 months I’ve served within the Treasury council for the Association.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?
As well as serving on the council, I’ve interacted with the Telcoin Platform in many aspects ranging from Staking to Liquidity Pools

Why are you running for this position?
After serving on the platform/treasury council for the last 12 months. And after finding out that this position will be vacated, I’m running because I see the compliance council positions as a crucial aspect to the associations governance. I think it is important to have an existing council member who has experience of the workings of the association in this position to provide knowledge and counsel where needed. With hopefully more activity likely in the next year and more things to think about with external parties coming onboard, I’m excited for challenges the compliance council holds.

What unique skills, experiences and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?
My regular job involves guiding a team of people to streamline multiple avenues of data through data governance structures and procedures. I regulary perform compliance audits etc and often have to liase with many difference levels of stakeholders. Often I’m dealing with conflict from various sources and I’m effective in managing and working through those challenges.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?
I’ve found over the last 12 months that the Association is a very liquid place to be, things change and areas for improvement become more obvious as time goes on. I expect to be vocal once opportunites for change become visible and are needed. That being said, I have some exciting improvement proposals in mind for late 2025/2026.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?
As I’ve done since elected for this term, I’ll be looking to continue to build strong relationships with members of the community where they feel empowed and respected to voice their opinions.

How will you keep your constituency informed?
I spent a large part of my first 6 months as council member, keeping community members up to date with progress from council meeting happenings. Although that evolved to not be needed thanks to intelligent proposals from other council members, I expect this evolution to continue in the way we convey information efficiently to those who need to know. I’ll look to listen to community feedback on how best to do this.

How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?
Based on my experience - I envisage around 10 hours a week will be suitable
