Specializations
Marketing
As a Marketing Associate at Telcoin, I serve as a lead copywriter for Telcoin external communications and marketing. I collaborate with the Tokyo-based marketing team, liasie with our media agency (Scrib3), and coordinate with other departments to ensure that all materials are compliant, banking-grade, and consistent with Telcoin’s brand voice. After three years in Tokyo, I returned to the United States last month to take up this role.
Business Development
In addition to marketing, I help drive MNO validator recruitment and strategic partnerships alongside my colleagues on the commercial team. I have had the pleasure of representing the company at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and Kenya Blockchain & Crypto Conference in Nairobi, where I networked and connected with many industry peers and potential partners.
Education
I graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies with a Minor in Business Administration.
Council Nomination Application
Introduction
I believe the community is familiar with me from my employment at Telcoin, so I won’t repeat my full background here but rather focus on my efforts to assist the Association while in my role at Telcoin.
From in-person networking at MWC in Barcelona and KBCC in Nairobi to early-morning and late-night calls with colleagues and external parties across the globe, I have conducted extensive Telcoin Network business development as we move toward mainnet launch.
More recently, I took the lead in making introductions and establishing direct lines of communication between the Telcoin marketing team and the Association’s new marketing agency, STORM Partners. Given the close synergy between Telcoin Holdings and Telcoin Association – as well as clear lines of delineation in governance (e.g., Telcoin with its banking operations and TA with governance of the TEL token) – it was crucial to ensure everyone was on the same page and aware of all relevant compliance boundaries. We quickly set up a healthy dialogue, and both parties are now proceeding in parallel within their respective areas of responsibility.
Why should you be selected?
As noted above, I have advanced Association projects where possible and advised as needed on marketing efforts within the confines of my role at Telcoin. However, without being an elected council member, there are many projects I cannot assist with directly, such as TEL exchange listing applications and Association-specific marketing and educational content creation.
I admire the work that many enthusiastic council members are doing to advance ecosystem development and expand the Association’s online presence. Their efforts are an inspiration and a major reason why I am running for the position to join forces. Additionally, I am closely following STORM’s progress in creating TELx content, making website updates, and driving other key projects, and am looking forward to seeing the final products for each of these initiatives.
With Telcoin Network mainnet on the horizon, I feel there is much progress to be made in expanding visibility for TEL and the entire Telcoin Platform, and I believe that I could be a valuable force in driving these efforts directly as a representative of Liquidity Miners on the Treasury Council. Specifically, I would like to focus on TEL exchange listings and producing educational content to both boost the Association’s social media presence and increase community engagement. I am willing to dedicate 20 hours per week to Association efforts in addition to my responsibilities at Telcoin.
I appreciate everyone’s consideration.
