With scalability in mind (think thousands tuned in) Having a buffer of who can talk IMO will be important. we’ll have hundreds of comments, maybe more coming in when the stream gets bigger. IMO it’s important to have a moderator who can sift through all of this and present a collection of questions to the committee to answer.
i do agree that “calling someone up to speak” will raise challenges - but my counterpoint is professional presentation streams normally don’t do this and instead utilize chat to answer questions.
unfortunately, youtube has no native hosting ability. You aren’t able to have a “stage” per-se.
The easiest way is to aggregate all 3 chats together into one stream chat. This can be done with a simple plugin that i already have running. You can even set it to display the icon of the channel the chatter is talking on.
