TNRH: Telcoin Network Reward Hub
Submitted by: Bluelights
Date: 29th August 2025
This proposal takes from my recent External Missions Dashboard and refines the idea, original link here: TANIP-1 Companion Proposal: External Missions Dashboard
Overview
This proposal introduces the Telcoin Network Reward(s) Hub — a dedicated, externally-governed platform for distributing TEL rewards based on completed missions. The Reward Hub will serve as a gamified layer that promotes meaningful engagement, guides user behavior, and supports sustainable growth across the Telcoin Network ecosystem.
Unlike TANIP-1, this proposal expands the incentive model to include a range of behaviors, with rewards tied to transparent, verifiable missions. (aka Gamification)
As the Council evaluates TANIP-1’s future via snapshot vote, this proposal presents a next-generation framework designed to grow with the Telcoin Network beyond mainnet launch.
Purpose
The Telcoin Network Reward Hub will:
-
Offer users clear, actionable ways to earn TEL
-
Add a gamification layer that boosts engagement and long-term retention
-
Create a neutral, central dashboard for all network-related reward campaigns
-
Allow future apps on the network to plug into the same rewards engine
-
Provide developers with a way to incentivize users while also benefiting from platform growth
This proposal lays the foundation. The Council can evolve, expand, or iterate based on live results and ecosystem needs.
Concept: Missions-Based Reward Model
The core idea is simple: users complete specific missions, such as:
-
Swap tokens
-
Stake TEL
-
Refer users
-
Hold TEL for a period
-
Send TEL to others
-
Participate in seasonal or streak-based campaigns
Each mission has clear criteria and a defined time window. Upon completion, users can claim TEL rewards via a dedicated interface. This is not auto-distributed — users must actively engage to receive the benefit.
The dashboard will live on a standalone site such as:
missions.telcoin.org or rewards.telcoin.org
How It Works
Public Mission View
-
All missions are visible to any visitor
-
Each card shows the name, description, reward, and active time window
Wallet Check
-
Users paste their Telcoin wallet address
-
The system displays one of three statuses per mission:
-
Not Completed -
Completed – Claim Available -
Completed – Claimed
-
Claim TEL Reward
-
If a mission is marked “Claim Available”, the user clicks “Claim”
-
A smart contract sends TEL directly to the pasted wallet address
-
There is no login, wallet connect, or the need to sign transations, just simple and easy for the user
Optional Enhancements
If additional security is desired, a lightweight verification layer could be added:
-
Users paste wallet address
-
Receive one-time code via SMS
-
Enter code to confirm claim
This would ensure only a genuine person can initiate claims, without relying on wallet-connect flows.
MVP & Testing Phase
As a first step, a pilot program could be run with 50–100 selected users via existing 3rd party platforms such as Blu3Chips or an alternate lightweight environment.
The MVP would:
-
Offer a small set of missions
-
Ask participants to complete them and submit feedback
-
Provide a small TEL reward to each participant who finishes all steps
This real-world testing would help validate mission design, dashboard usability, and distribution logic before scaling up.
Example Missions
| Mission Name | Objective Description |
|---|---|
| Stake TEL | Stake X amount of TEL using the staking feature |
| 7-Day Trader | Swap tokens daily for 7 consecutive days |
| Referral Starter | Refer 3 new users who complete one transaction |
| Loyal Holder | Hold X TEL in your wallet for 30 days without sending |
| Deposit TEL | Deposit X TEL into your wallet from an external source |
These missions are illustrative only. Final details (amounts, durations, rewards) will be set by the TAN Council.
Ecosystem Integration
-
Governed by TAN Council — not dependent on Telcoin Holdings or app updates
-
Secure delivery — smart contract ensures TEL only goes to eligible wallet
-
Auditable — mission logic and emissions can be made public
-
Extendable — future missions can cover new apps, DAO votes, or governance tasks
Incentivizing App Developers
To encourage deeper ecosystem participation, app developers building on the Telcoin Network may be eligible to earn a portion of rewards when missions tied to their apps are claimed.
This creates a dual incentive:
-
Users earn TEL by completing useful missions
-
Builders earn a share for driving that engagement
This also motivates builders to promote the Reward Hub, creating a viral loop of utility and visibility for the entire network.
Governance & Emissions
-
The TAN Council retains full control of mission logic, reward frequency, and emissions
-
Budgets can be set weekly, monthly, or seasonally
-
Unclaimed rewards can be rolled over or recycled
-
Mission logic and status checks are handled off-chain; rewards distributed via smart contract
-
TEL comes from existing TAN Council treasury reward allocations
Proposal Scope
This proposal:
-
Approves development of the Reward Hub framework
-
Allows Council to begin experimentation and testing
-
Establishes a governance-based pathway for growth
-
Does not lock in any specific logic or long-term emission models
It adds a gamification layer that can evolve, expand, and integrate new apps — serving as a single access point for all network-wide incentives going forward.
Closing Thoughts
The Telcoin Network Reward Hub is a natural evolution beyond TANIP-1 — expanding the user base, improving fairness, and increasing ecosystem participation through fun, engaging mechanics.
This isn’t a temporary patch — it’s a flexible foundation for a more community-powered, interactive Telcoin Network.
While other incentive systems may run in parallel, this proposal gives us one scalable structure to start rewarding users meaningfully — not just based on volume, but on action.
I encourage the community and Council members to share their thoughts and suggestions as we shape the future of ecosystem rewards together.
