Council member TEL claiming tutorial

Background

Each council member NFT contract receives a stream of TEL using Sablier contracts. This TEL remains on each NFT contract and is divided equally between council members holding NFTs that are part of the NFT contract. Each NFT owner can claim their TEL from the NFT contract. The following process describes how.

Claiming TEL

  1. Navigate to the polygonscan page of your NFT contract address. The contract addresses and links are below:

    Important: Please ensure you are interacting with the correct contract address before proceeding. Only interact with the contract addresses below.

  1. Once on the page, click ‘Contract’ highlighted in red in the screenshot below:

  1. Select ‘Write as Proxy’ and then click ‘Connect to Web3’:

  1. Click ‘OK’ in the Polygonscan popup that appears.

  2. Select your wallet provider associated with the wallet that holds your Council Member NFT.

  3. Ensure your wallet is using the account which holds your Council Member NFT.

  4. Click ‘claim (0xc3490263)’ and enter your tokenId and 0 into the tokenId and amount boxes respectively.

  5. Click ‘Write’, and approve the transaction in your wallet.

  6. Click ‘Read as Proxy’.

  7. Click on ‘9. Balances’, and enter your tokenId.

    Your tokenId can be found in the following table:

  1. Click ‘Query’ and copy the uint256 value that appears to your clipboard (highlight the value and press ctrl+c).
  2. Click ‘Write as Proxy’ and click ‘claim (0xc3490263)’.
  3. Enter your tokenId and then paste the value from step 11 into the amount box.
  4. Click ‘Write’.
  5. Sign the transaction using your wallet. The tokens will appear in your wallet once the transaction confirms. (You may have to add TEL to your wallet if using a clean wallet).
