Proposal: Telcoin Holdings Mobile App Improvement

Summary:

Utilize user-driven feedback to provide telcoin holdings with app improvement suggestions in relation to Telcoin Association news and updates, enhanced staking/referral platform and further suggestions for improvements.

Specification:

As the Telcoin Holdings team and the Telcoin Association are two unique and individual entities, it is inevitable that the products they use collaboratively should be focused on providing a clean user-end experience in order to attract new retail users and investors.

Currently, there is purpose-limited collaboration on specific app requests due to the nature of the telcoin council entity and its relationship to telcoin holdings. This presents unique issues, as retail users of the app often seek out Telcoin Association for discussions and engagement regarding the app.

This proposal’s goal is to accomplish a dual-pronged approach to both immediate requests for enhanced Telcoin Association communication via the mobile app, as well as an improvement to the “earn” features on the telcoin app itself as outlined below:

  1. enhancement of the “claim” section - providing a detailed description of how the earned reward was calculated. Currently, the only way to do this is to first pull up the mobile app, then search multiple locations for where the reward that a user earned came from. This includes google docs spreadsheets for staked transaction rewards, telx LP pool portal for any claimed LP rewards, and there is no real way to identify what rewards were earned through referrals. Having these consolidated into one location on the same platform that you claim your rewards from will enhance the first-time user experience.
  2. provide information on the reward earned date, and the reward origin (staking, referral, LP)

In conclusion, by providing insight and a collaborative approach to both the “earn” section of the telcoin holdings mobile app and creation of a Telcoin Association news portal in the app, the TAN can spend less of their time answering multiple redundant questions on discord/twitter/telegram and instead point users to a hub of information. Users will also be more empowered with the “earn” feature of the telcoin mobile app by understanding where their rewards came from and how they were calculated.
