Platform Council Liquid Delegation: Liquidity Miners

Update (2025/02/21): As decided by the Platform Council in their meeting on 2025/02/20, the Snapshot vote will go live on March 7, 2025 at 6PM CT

Context: This liquid delegation proposal is being submitted following the passing of CCIP1, which resulted in the removal of a Platform Council member representing the Liquidity Miners Miner Group due to a failure to meet participation requirements. Their governance NFT has been revoked, and the Telcoin Autonomous Ops (TAO) has temporarily taken over voting responsibilities until the vacancy can be filled through this process. The TAO’s role as a substitute voter ensures that affected proposals, which in this case received unanimous consent from the other council members and achieved the approval rate threshold of 6/8, can be voted into action.

Per the Liquid Delegation Rules, this proposal is being initiated to elect a new Council Member from the Liquidity Miners Miner Group. As the seat is available (as a result of CCIP1) the previous member won’t be included in the subsequent snapshot vote by default.

Liquid Delegation Process

  • Miner Group Affected: Liquidity Miners
  • Vacant Seat: 1 Platform Council position
  • Proposal Authority: As per the Liquid Delegation Rules, this proposal will be submitted by the TAO.
  • Nomination Period: Candidates must submit a nomination application to this forum post, at the latest, 24 hours prior to the proposal going live on Snapshot on March 7, 2025 at 6PM CT
  • Voting Duration: 7 days
  • Quorum Requirement: 20% of the Liquidity Miners Miner Group’s voting power
  • Outcome: The candidate with the most votes will receive the Platform Council Governance NFT, granting them proposal, voting authority, and a flow of TEL issuance.

Please apply only if you are genuinely committed and prepared to dedicate the necessary time, effort, and expertise. The Global Platform Council, along with the Telcoin Association as a whole, functions as a collaborative team — every member plays a vital role in driving the platform’s growth and long-term success.

This is not a position for those seeking a passive role. We’re looking for individuals who are ready to apply their skills, connections, and industry knowledge to help shape the strongest possible future for the Telcoin platform.

Please also understand that this role comes with both community support and, at times, criticism. The Telcoin community is passionate, engaged, and highly vocal. When they see genuine commitment and consistent effort, they will have your back. However, you’ll need resilience and the determination to stay focused when facing skepticism. A thick skin and a results-driven mindset are essential to push through challenges and prove the doubters wrong through hard work and dedication.

We look forward to welcoming driven, capable, and engaged individuals to the Telcoin Association.

With a decade of experience in asset management sales, I have honed the ability to build strong relationships, drive strategic growth, and navigate complex financial markets—skills that I believe align well with the responsibilities of a council member.

My deep understanding of investment strategies, market dynamics, and needs of individuals enables me to contribute valuable insights into helping with the adoption and expansion of Telcoin’s financial ecosystem. Additionally, my track record in sales demonstrates my ability to communicate effectively, foster partnerships, and advocate for innovative financial solutions, making me well-suited to help work within the liquidity miners council mission and long-term success.

  • Council Nomination Application :
    • Introduction
      • How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community

I joined the Telcoin community in January 2021, right after Paul’s update about securing their first remittance corridor from Canada to the Philippines through GCash, and I was immediately excited about the potential of what they were building.

With then, the launch of Telcoin V2 and a clear vision for V3, it was evident that this was just the beginning of something transformative. The idea of leveraging blockchain to revolutionize remittances and provide more accessible financial services excited me. Seeing the first real-world use case come to life reinforced my belief in Telcoin’s vision, and I’ve been eager to support its growth ever since.

  • What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?

I’ve been a liquidity miner on the Telx platform since it launched in 2021, and let’s just say I’ve learned a thing or two—mostly the hard way—especially about impermanent loss during a crypto bull market…

Meanwhile, my brother, who barely lifts a finger, happily collects my trading fees every time I try to ‘rebalance’ my portfolio on the app. At this point, I think he owes me dinner… or at least a thank-you note.

But joking apart, I think there’s so much we can do to incentivise the community & at the same time get them to ‘Pay themselves first’ which in my opinion is Telcoins real USP.

  • Why should you be selected?
    • Why are you running for this position?

I’d really like the opportunity to join the Liquidity Miners Council because I believe in the project’s mission to create a decentralised, user-driven financial ecosystem. As an active participant in the crypto space, I see the value of community-led initiatives in shaping sustainable liquidity solutions. I want to contribute my insights, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and help spread the power of taking control of your own assets. Being part of this council is also personally a great opportunity to make an impact for the community while also deepening my understanding of decentralized finance and governance.

  • What unique skills, experiences and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?

With 10 years in asset management and an unconventional background due to being a lifetime martial artist, I’ve learned to see things from a different perspective. Challenging the norm and thinking outside the box allows me to approach problems creatively and find unique solutions. Bringing this mindset to the table helps drive innovation and new opportunities in the space for the community.

  • What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?

The areas I believe we can help influence change as a council are to continue to raise awareness of how the Liquidity Pools can generate fees and rewards for users, helping them get the most out of their participation. (Be this through an X post – similar to Andrew’s posts) but to show how powerful it can be using my own funds across the pools - Full transparency using the wallet address above)

I’ll also be keen to suggest new asset pairs, if the community agrees, to create more opportunities and drive liquidity miner fee’s whilst also exploring if it’s possible to get the liquidity features added into the app to help increase ease and access to these products.

  • How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?

If voted in, I will ensure I have an open message box for Telcoin community members, along with a dedicated email, so anyone can share their thoughts or concerns but also by relaying concerns or challenges to other council members.

I’ll actively listen to feedback and make sure to raise these points at the bi-weekly meetings, ensuring the community’s voice is heard and considered in decision-making.

  • How will you keep your constituency informed?

Through the power of social media as this has clearly the most engagement & ease of access.

  • How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?

An hour or two during the working week (1 / 2 hours) & 2 / 3 hours on the weekend.

Council Nomination Application

Introduction

How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community?**

I discovered Telcoin in 2020, reading on the web about companies related to telecommunications and cryptocurrencies. I thought it had a lot of potential and I started following them on social media and supporting them ever since. It’s a great idea that everyone can be their own bank and facilitate the issue of remittances.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?

I have contributed some liquidity in a couple of Pools in TELx - Home, also a part of my portfolio in staking in the Telcoin APP since its launch. I try to participate by RTing on social media and looking for referrals.

Why Should You Be Selected?

I should be chosen because I am young, enthusiastic about investments and technological development. As a pioneer of Telcoin in Latin America and Uruguay, I can help develop and bring investments to this side of the world.

Why are you running for this position?

I would like to contribute from any position that the team needs, be it marketing, social media, staker, influencer, I think it would be a wonderful opportunity for me and my future.
What unique skills, experiences, and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?

I discovered the world of cryptocurrencies in 2016, and since then I have been enthusiastic about everything that involves blockchain technology and its impact on people.I believe that I can contribute with my experience in the economic and project area, bringing fresh and revolutionary ideas to this space.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?

The changes I would propose would be to empower people, I think that when the holders of a crypto are taken into account in systems like DAO, where people can vote, make decisions, make changes that benefit the majority.

The current reward system should also be reviewed, the figure of the referral is not bad, but it only benefits influencers, in this space privacy must also be respected, and someone who wants to support through staking and not through referrals, also deserves to generate returns with all their tokens.

Global adoption is needed, we must work with all centralized and non-centralized exchanges, so that we can have more people using the app and being token holders.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?

My mission will be to be the voice of those who support the growth of the project. I believe that many voices are not heard and we must humbly accept that together we are stronger, which is why I am committed to addressing these cases.
How will you keep your constituency informed?

I actively use social media, it helps me to keep up to date with all the developments and changes in trends in the technology field. Following news channels on the web, social media and TV are my source of information.
How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?

I can dedicate about 8-10 hours per week to the tasks and missions that the team considers necessary, it is my goal to support the growth and future of the Project.

Marketing and Education

  • As CryptoMitchX on Twitter I’ve been voted the most influential Telcoin Influencer on X. I post about 15-20 times a day and receive on average 100 likes and 10 reposts per Telcoin post. I consistently educate the Telfam on Telcoin DeFi opportunities, Technical Analysis and Market Psychology. My following is very engaged and enthusiastic and I share generously with them. On YouTube, I have a video from 2018 about “How to be a community manager” that has 10,000 videos. Last month I did an X live stream on Telcoin analysis and it had 9000 views. Even during the bear market, I believe my posts contributed to the net growth of the Telcoin keywords ($TEL, #Telcoin #Telfam) on the X algorithm.

Product, Data, Information

  • As a passionate cryptocurrency ecosystem investor since August 2018 I have been developing my skillset in as many relevant skills as possible in Frontend Development, smart contracts, venture capital raising, pitch deck creation, user interface design, community building and more. I am a jack of all trades, master of none type person. I can engage with team members in every department and offer an interdisciplinary perspective on the problems to be solved. My skills have been used on a variety of projects and I have a solid grasp of how to apply Web3 to different scenarios. Additionally, I am a technical analyst who can generate important insights from historical and performance data. In 2021 Sylvester Stallone’s agent approached me to advise on his NFT drop Sly Nation. I deeply understand the importance of data hygiene, from my work at Rio Tinto (a 100 Billion dollar company). I am confident in public speaking on technical topics, one career highlight for me was when I pitched a Web3 startup to a Billionaire Hedge fund manager from Goldman Sachs and 70 other people on a Zoom call, while it was 3 am local time.

Production Coordination and Infrastructure

  • In 2022 I was hired by an Australian NFT marketplace called Massive Labs to co-ordinate three development teams. I had an India-based development team working on the backend development and smart contracts, I had the Perth-based metaverse team designing Unreal Engine concert venues and working with Telemidi to stream low-latency performances in real time over the metaverse. I also had a Sydney based UX/UI team, that I was managing for our mobile app to onboard artists. The CEO of the company was Cameron Yuill who is a Silicon Valley Veteran and early investor in Uber, and friends with Twitter Founder Jack Dorsey. He gave me a LinkedIn recommendation when I left Massive, saying, “Mitch brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Tech Lead at MASSIVE. His mastery of full-stack web development was evident in consistently delivering innovative and well-thought-out solutions. Mitch’s leadership skills fostered a collaborative and successful environment, and his dedication to mentoring junior developers was truly commendable. As a passionate and hardworking individual, Mitch’s contributions were invaluable to our team’s tech strategy and implementation. Best of all Mitch’s unbridled enthusiasm and ‘never say no’ attitude was always delivered with a smile!”
  • Another client approached me for advice on his real-world fishing Web3 mobile app, which planned to use data from catching high-quality fish (eg. Tuna, Salmon) and putting it on a blockchain mobile app. I spearheaded the planning of a prototype to enable “Tide to Table” procurement traceability. Where for example, the consumer in a Japanese restaurant can view the time of catch, GPS location, species of fish, fishing vessel and more data, all on a nice mobile app UI via a QR code. I advised on the infrastructure, product features, UI design and more.

Communication and Ecosystem Development

  • I actively encourage new users to sign up for the app. This month I gained 28 confirmed sign-ups, and my personal goal is to get 1000 confirmed sign-ups by December 2025. It’s ambitious but I believe it is possible. I utilise TradingView and X to publish my own independent analysis. I am willing to adjust my posts to be more inline with the limitations and responsibilities of a Council Member. During my time at MASSIVE Labs, I onboarded 45 users onto the NFT marketplace and supported them via Discord to set up their wallets, bridge cryptocurrency via polygon, and purchase NFTs.

Council Nomination Application: Provide responses to the following questions:

  • Introduction. How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community?
    • I joined the crypto space on 8th August 2018. I was investing mainly in the top 20 by market cap. In Feb 2021, I saw @360_Trader post about $TEL. I looked into it and purchased it the next day. I’ve been an avid supporter ever since.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?

  • I use the app regularly. I have been holding TEL for 4 years. I constantly research the various websites in what I call the “Telcoin Multi-verse”. I still regularly buy $TEL tokens. I am reading through the open source code on Github. I communicate with the development team on ideas. I am rated the most active Telcoin influencer on X by multiple ranking platforms and also Grok. I have onboarded about 50 unconfirmed telcoin affiliates and this month 28 confirmed affiliates. The total combined Assets Under Management (AUM) of the people I have already onboarded into $TEL would be about $500,000.

Why should you be selected?

Why are you running for this position?

  • I am incredibly passionate about the Telcoin ecosystem, as demonstrated by everything mentioned above. I believe I can have a meaningful impact on the project as a whole.

What unique skills, experiences and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?

  • I have a working knowledge of the following skills. I can code in Python, Javascript and Solidity, HTML, CSS. I have a basic understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different algorithms and how they are coded, this is useful when discussing performance scalability issues. I am a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner. I have a deep knowledge of about 50 different software. I am passionate about technical analysis and macroeconomic data. I have above-average (but not perfect) design skills and can produce content quickly and to a high standard. I write pitch decks, I deliver pitch decks to high-networth individuals. I have a large Rolodex of connections in the industry. I am a systems thinker who can combine technical insight with business insight. I do not claim to be an expert in any of these, but I can speak meaningfully on all of them, and also get my hands dirty by contributing code or technical research in these areas.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?

  • My fundamental belief is that when you join a new leadership role you should spend at-least the first month speaking to the people you are leading before making any new changes. It is easy to rush in and make changes without knowing the full story. I intend to listen to the people around me and use my analytical brain to synthesise the insights into a clear path forward. I do not intend to rush any proposals.
  • With that said, the first initiative I have already begun is to invite my friend, the CEO of Rob Janoff Agency, the brain that designed the Apple Logo, to offer their services to Telcoin to retell the story to the same standard as Apple. Telcoin’s Marketcap has grown by roughly 700 million dollars from Nov to Feb ($360 Billion to $1060 Billion - now sitting at over $900 Billion), and I believe the time to bring in a Tier-1 Master Storyteller, such as Rob Janoff, is here.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?

  • I will use my X account and follow Elon Musk’s approach by being very transparent with my community. I will do weekly community polls and open my DMs to suggestions. I will also work closely with my fellow council members to agree on proposals. I am a very empathetic and compassionate person who doesn’t seek to dominate or overrule. I seek to be a calm, level-headed voice in the community - as demonstrated by thousands of my Telcoin posts on X.

How will you keep your constituency informed?

  • I will use X and other social media forums to share the information that is not behind NDAs. I am committed to following the expectations placed on Council members to speak within the company values. I will also continue my open and enthusiastic posting schedule to generate buzz for this project that I have deep affection for.

How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?

  • I can contribute 15-20 hours per week. I am constantly tuned in to Twitter and spend a minimum of 2 hours a day analysing Telcoin Fundamentals, Technicals and Sentiment or broader market information like the US Manufacturing Index for global business cycles. I can attend at least one call per fortnight, I will be available via DMs about 16 hours a day and can produce documents on time.

Thank you for considering my application,
With Gratitude,

CryptoMitchX

Council Nomination Application : Provide responses to the following questions:

Introduction

How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community.
I found out about Telcoin in April 2024, when we made the first contact with the project to be their Market Making Partners for some of the Centralized Exchanges. Since then I accustomed multiple listings on Centralized Exchanges and supported the efforts to make TEL tradable for everyone on every exchange.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?
I mostly interacted with Telcoin from a trading perspective in every aspect of Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges. To be honest I still have to learn more about the overall ecosystem and the Telcoin community, but I am willing to go the extra mile to be able to fulfill the role as Council member. I am ready to bring in a can-do and hands-on mentality in every way to support the community on their future steps into a bright future.

Why should you be selected?

Why are you running for this position?
I want Telcoin and its community to reach their goals and I think I can support with my knowledge and positive mindset on the way into the future.

What unique skills, experiences and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?
As I stated above, I bring a lot of experience in business roles and project management. So I know my way in the coordination of complex projects. Additionally my knowledge of the trading part of digital assets can be a plus for the community.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?
Right now, I don’t have any immediate actions in mind, but I am an outspoken person with the mentioned can-do mentality. I think we are still early in the overall crypto industry and there is a lot to accomplish. I want to be a part of that for Telcoin.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected? By keeping up with the developments in the ecosystem and the community. Discussing with team members and listening to feedback, carefully weighing different options to be able to make the best possible decision for everyone.

How will you keep your constituency informed?
Regular updates about current topics in the regular meeting and providing feedback via the different channels like Discord a.o.

How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?
I did not set my self a certain amount of hours, I am willing to bring in the time which is needed to complete the tasks. Although to be honest, my regular work schedule can be pretty packed from time to time.
