Council Nomination Application

Introduction

How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community?

  • I discovered Telcoin through a post by @Paddy_Stash in January 2020. The concept of enabling low-cost remittances without bank accounts immediately intrigued me, and I remain committed to the platform’s goal of financial inclusion.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?

  • I currently have the app, have staked in the LPs, stake in the app, and run a small number of AWS-based functions (<36) that track account interactions on the blockchain. I have interacted with almost every aspect of the ecosystem in some manner over the past few years.

Why Should You Be Selected?

Why are you running for this position?

  • I believe the ecosystem is at a crucial juncture. My goal is to drive community re-engagement through aggressive development initiatives, focusing on attracting external developers to build innovative Dapps on our platform.

What unique skills, experiences, and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?

  • I have been interested and involved in blockchain technologies since 2011 and even still have my first desktop that I built as a mining rig. My experience in handling systems that process millions of dollars annually and managing cloud spend budgets of over $1 million per month can help guide us towards scalable and secure solutions that align with our mission of global financial inclusion.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?

  • I plan to implement targeted initiatives to attract external development efforts, including developer outreach programs, incentives, and improved access to testnets and resources. I believe there is a significant gap between what we currently offer to stakers and what could be offered, and it is my intention to help close that gap.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?

  • As a user of the ecosystem, I am deeply invested in balancing long-term ecosystem growth with the interests of early backers. I will ensure our community’s voice is heard and considered in all decisions.

How will you keep your constituency informed?

  • I will actively engage on X, Telegram, and Discord, and will explore launching a blog or newsletter for broader updates. I plan to provide updates at least bi-weekly or as necessary. I will be open to feedback from the community to ensure their concerns are effectively addressed.

How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?

  • Given my flexible schedule, I can dedicate as much time as necessary, estimating around 10 hours per week to fulfill the duties of this role effectively.

Introduction
I discovered Telcoin at the very beginning of its journey in late 2017, and I’ve been passionate about the project ever since. Telcoin stood out to me for its mission to revolutionize the archaic remittance system—a system that has historically charged vulnerable families exorbitant fees of 8-10% just to send money home. These fees disproportionately impact people who are already making sacrifices by working far from their loved ones just to provide basic necessities. Telcoin’s innovative approach, reducing these fees to less than 2%, is a true game-changer, transforming lives for the better.

Over the past 7-8 years, I’ve watched Telcoin evolve from a business concept into a fully operational remittance platform, exchange, and ecosystem designed to benefit those who need it most. My involvement with Telcoin deepened as I became one of the select Telcoin Community Ambassadors, during this time I co-founded a popular Telcoin Telegram community where users could engage with and support the Telcoin journey. This Council Application is the next step in ensuring our community’s voices are heard as we continue to build and develop the Telcoin platform and ecosystem.

Experience with Telcoin Platform
My Telcoin journey truly began with the first major release of its remittance platform. As a community ambassador, I was actively involved in encouraging users to test the platform, organizing competitions, and distributing my own Telcoin tokens to help foster engagement. I was among the first to participate in the liquidity pools and in-app staking, and I regularly use the Telcoin crypto exchange. I have also been an active participant in both the now-closed official Telcoin Telegram group and the Discord community. Additionally, I co-founded the “Telcoin Power Holders” group, where users can discuss and engage with all aspects of the Telcoin ecosystem.

I have been a part of every major milestone Telcoin has achieved, and I am committed to continuing my involvement as the platform grows.

Why Should I Be Selected?
You should select me for the Telcoin Council because I bring a unique blend of experience, dedication, and a deep understanding of both the Telcoin platform and its community. My involvement with Telcoin from its inception has provided me with a comprehensive perspective on its evolution, challenges, and opportunities. I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to the Telcoin community through my role as a Community Ambassador, where I have helped build and nurture a strong, engaged user base.

My professional background in marketing, business development, and community management equips me with the skills necessary to represent the interests of the community effectively. I have a proven track record of driving growth, fostering communication, and ensuring that the voices of the community are heard. My ability to navigate complex negotiations, coupled with my extensive network within the crypto, stocks and forex industry, will be instrumental in advancing Telcoin’s mission and ensuring its continued success.

Moreover, my personal journey, including overcoming significant health challenges, has instilled in me a profound sense of resilience, empathy, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. I am not just a participant in the Telcoin ecosystem—I am an advocate for its potential to change lives. By selecting me, you are choosing a candidate who is deeply invested in the success of Telcoin and the well-being of its community. I am ready to take on this responsibility and work tirelessly to ensure that Telcoin continues to thrive.

Why Am I Running for This Position?
I am running for this position because I have been a part of Telcoin’s journey from the very start. I have seen Telcoin grow from a mere concept into the robust platform it is today. The challenges faced by Telcoin, and the way the team has overcome them, are a testament to their dedication and resilience. This position represents the next phase of Telcoin’s growth, and I am eager to contribute alongside other like-minded individuals who are also key voices for the community. Together, we can help shape the future of Telcoin.

Unique Skills, Experiences, and Credentials:
As the Head of Commercial for a well-known group within the Cryptocurrency sector, I manage all aspects of sales, negotiations, contracts, and business development. My career has been built on public speaking, having presented on stage to thousands of people for various companies, including corporate and blue-chip firms. I have extensive experience managing my own events company and have held prestigious positions with companies like Nintendo, Britvic, Pepsi, and LG. I was also a regional trainer for telecom companies such as Orange and T-Mobile, which later merged to form EE in the UK.

My experience in the cryptocurrency industry has taught me patience and emotional control. Managing and creating a Telcoin community has honed my skills in community management, conflict resolution, and ensuring that people’s voices are heard. On a personal level, I have faced and overcome significant challenges, including undergoing three major operations for cancer treatment. This journey has taught me invaluable lessons about life, adaptability, and resilience. I myself am extremely lucky to be here and know that on this journey we have tragically lost some absolutely wonderful members of the Telfam along the way, and I am committed to honoring their legacy by helping to guide Telcoin to its full potential.

Proposed Changes and Improvements

Communication:
Effective communication is crucial for a thriving community, and I believe this is an area where Telcoin can improve. While Telcoin has had moments of excellent communication, there have also been times when it has fallen short. I want to ensure that communication is consistent, transparent, and that the voices of the community are heard.

With my background in marketing and business development, I bring a wealth of experience and connections with industry news platforms, exchanges, and brokers. Council Nomination Application

Introduction

How did you find out about Telcoin and why are you excited about being a part of the Telcoin community?

  • I discovered Telcoin in 2020, reading on the web about companies related to telecommunications and cryptocurrencies. I thought it had a lot of potential and I started following them on social media and supporting them ever since. It’s a great idea that everyone can be their own bank and facilitate the issue of remittances.

What experience do you have in interacting with the Telcoin Platform as a user, miner, and/or overall ecosystem participant?

  • I have contributed some liquidity in a couple of Pools in TELx - Home, also a part of my portfolio in staking in the Telcoin APP since its launch. I try to participate by RTing on social media and looking for referrals.

Why Should You Be Selected?

I should be chosen because I am young, enthusiastic about investments and technological development. As a pioneer of Telcoin in Latin America and Uruguay, I can help develop and bring investments to this side of the world.

Why are you running for this position?

  • I would like to contribute from any position that the team needs, be it marketing, social media, staker, influencer, I think it would be a wonderful opportunity for me and my future.

What unique skills, experiences, and credentials do you bring to the role that will assist you in fulfilling your regular and special duties?

I discovered the world of cryptocurrencies in 2016, and since then I have been enthusiastic about everything that involves blockchain technology and its impact on people.I believe that I can contribute with my experience in the economic and project area, bringing fresh and revolutionary ideas to this space.

What changes and improvements do you plan to propose?

  • The changes I would propose would be to empower people, I think that when the holders of a crypto are taken into account in systems like DAO, where people can vote, make decisions, make changes that benefit the majority.
  • The current reward system should also be reviewed, the figure of the referral is not bad, but it only benefits influencers, in this space privacy must also be respected, and someone who wants to support through staking and not through referrals, also deserves to generate returns with all their tokens.
  • Global adoption is needed, we must work with all centralized and non-centralized exchanges, so that we can have more people using the app and being token holders.

How will you represent your miner group in decision-making processes to ensure their interests are being voiced and protected?

  • My mission will be to be the voice of those who support the growth of the project. I believe that many voices are not heard and we must humbly accept that together we are stronger, which is why I am committed to addressing these cases.

How will you keep your constituency informed?

  • I actively use social media, it helps me to keep up to date with all the developments and changes in trends in the technology field. Following news channels on the web, social media and TV are my source of information.

How much time can you dedicate to the role each week?

I can dedicate about 8-10 hours per week to the tasks and missions that the team considers necessary, it is my goal to support the growth and future of the Project.
