Telcoin Association Election Results – September 2024
Introduction
As the Telcoin community continues to grow, we are excited to announce the results of the inaugural Telcoin Association elections. These elections represent a key milestone in the decentralization and self-governance of the Telcoin Platform, marking the community’s official transition to active governance through Miner Councils.
The elections concluded on September 11th, 2024, and Telcoin Association now has elected representatives for the Platform Council, Treasury Council, Compliance Council, TAN Council, and TELx Council. Congratulations to all the elected members and thank everyone who participated in this important process.

What’s Next?
Elected Council members will now undergo the Compliance Council verification process, as outlined in the Telcoin Association governance framework. During this time, members will complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) verification and background checks. Once verified, they will be fully authorized to participate in council activities and will receive their council member NFTs.
Instructions for this process have been circulated to elected council members via the Email address they used to post their nomination application.
The Councils will oversee key decisions, including operational rules and TEL issuance for the Telcoin Application Network (TAN) and TELx, in accordance with the governance structure.
